Bringing bikes, art, wine, and food together seems so logical for Portland culture, I wonder why we didn't think of it before.Art by Bike will be a monthly event and starts March 5th at the Pedal Bike Tours 2249 N Williams at 5:30 and then venture on to 3 galleries in the Southeast. So come feed your soul and stretch your legs.
This is a free event for everyone, bring kids, grandparents, and anyone you know who would love to spend their Friday night on their bike taking in the fabulous culture that Portland has to offer.
First stop: B. Rogers Gallery, 2415 NE Broadway St. for the Sky, Roads, and Rivers pastel show by Andrea McFarland. B. Rogers gallery will be featuring Oregonzola Cheese .
Second Stop: Studio 2507, 2507 SE Clinton St. showing monotypes, paintings, and ceramic tiles, by Annie Meyer and map paintings, and mural work by Rachel Austin. Studio 2507 will be featuring a lovely Cabernet Shiraz blend from Yarra Valley, Australia.
Lat stop: Launch Pad Gallery, 534 SE Oak St. Showcasing 4 artists: Blasier, David Lechner, Jamond Williams & Dan McClary from Project Grow in their titled Outsiders on the Inside: From the Beginning mixed media show. The Launch Pad Gallery will be featuring Oregon's favorite Ninkasi beer on tap.
